Introduction

Hello! This will be my first official blog post. A little crazy to see all of this coming together in a way I can be proud of but I am happy to be here, even if I end up just talking to myself. Starting a publication is something that has been on my mind for a while but has just recently been brought to fruition. I hope to use this blog as a way to connect artist to fan and fan to fan.

A little bit about me –

Some of my favorite artists include (but are not limited to) Twenty One Pilots, The Wrecks, Weathers, Glass Animals…. the list can go on and on. Going to concerts has always been a major part of my life since I was in diapers (literally). Not only have I fallen in love with the show but also everything that leads up to it. The fan culture, standing in line for a good spot, making new friends in places you’ve never been before. I have done it all, from number 1 in line to the last person in the venue to working the show. I have built so many friendships that I cherish through music and live events. I want this publication to provide that for other people, wether its their 1st show or 100th show. Everyone deserves a welcoming environment within the music community and I hope people can find that here.

A little bit about ILTP –

I’ll be honest, I don’t have a big format for what will be posted or discussed on this site. I am winging it. I want to have the creative freedom to change and grow as I please. One week may have an exclusive artist interview while the next has a playlist of the month. I also want this to be a place for other fans and concertgoers to share their experiences and art. I would love to feature concert photographers, music/concert reviews, fan art, etc. If you are interested in letting me share your work, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

When I envision this publication, I see a place for fan service. I want to give whatever fans are looking for, whatever may help them through this crazy life. I want to provide fans with a deeper connection to the work they love. Give them insight into the artists they admire and the process they go through to create the work they do. I want to provide what so many strangers provided for me when I first started going to shows, a home.

Maybe this is crazy, but man do i love this part….
